    1/4 cup flour
    2 lbs chopped moose meat
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 1/2 cups vegetable juice cocktail
    2 tsp instant beef bouillon granules
    1/2 tsp dried based
    1/2 tsp dried thyme
    4 medium potatoes, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    4 medium carrots, chopped
    1 cup celery, chopped
    4 cups sweet potato, chopped


Toss meat with flour, salt, pepper, garlic, thyme and basil and place in bottom of crock pot.

Add all other ingredients and cook on low for 10 - 12 hours (high 4-6 hours). Stir thoroughly before serving. Makes 40 100 gram servings

  • Excellent! I didn't have v8 juice so I used a can of tomato soup and some beef broth. Also, I cooked in the oven at 325 for 4 hours, the meat was very tender and fell apart with a fork. Being garlic lovers, I doubled it and added a touch of cayenne. Thank-you so much! - 11/8/12
