Introduction

I use whole wheat instead of white flour. I use whole wheat instead of white flour.

Ingredients

    1 cup corn meal
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/3 cup vegetable oil
    1 cup 2% milk
    1 large egg

Directions

Preheat oven to 400F. In a small bowl, beat egg and then add oil and milk. In a medium bowl mix dry ingredients and then blend in the wet ingredients. Pour into a oiled 8x8 baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes.
