Introduction

Almost as good as Panera! Almost as good as Panera!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 cups Skim Milk
    2 cups Reduce sodium Chicken Broth
    3 tbps margarine
    3 cans reduce fat cream of chicken soup
    1tsp pepper
    1tsp salt
    1 tbsp parsley, dried
    3 de-thawed boneless skinless Chicken breast
    1 tbsp magarine
    sprinkle of garlic salt
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1 box Uncle Bens Long grain and Wild rice original recipe, cooked according to box
    1 1/2 cups sliced baby carrots
    +/- 1 cup chopped celery

Directions

Makes 8 servings, approx 2 cups each

1.Cook rice according to box and set aside
2. Cut chicken in to small pieces, cubes (easiest with kitchen scissors) place in med pan and cook with 1tbsp margarine, onion, garlic salt, and a pinch of salt and pepper
3. In the slow cooker, add milk, chicken broth, parsley, salt, pepper, chicken/onion mixture, cream of chicken soup, margarine, rice, carrots, and celery if desired.
4. Stir occasionally. Cook on high or med for at least 3 hours. Enjoy!
