Low carb way to enjoy a tasty turkey burger, very filling! Low carb way to enjoy a tasty turkey burger, very filling!

    4 oz Ground Turkey, raw
    1 tbsp chopped onions
    1 tbsp hummus

    1 cup Lettuce
    1 oz cheese of your choice(I use Mozzarella)
    Condiments of your choice, but I used tablespoon of ketchup and honey dijon mustard
    3 sweet gerkin pickles


Chop your onions, mix onion, hummus and meat into a big bowl, knead with hands. Form small patties, I do 2 oz a piece. I use a Foreman grill, but you can pan cook as well.

While the meat is cooking, shred your lettuce. Once the burgers are done, sprinkle a bit of cheese over them to let it melt. Once they're cooled, break up the meat over lettuce. Use whatever condiments you want, and feel free to add additional veggies like tomato, onions, etc.

Makes one big salad.
