Introduction

The simplest, yummiest homemade bread I have ever had. The simplest, yummiest homemade bread I have ever had.
Number of Servings: 14

Ingredients

    1 1/2 C warm water
    1/8 C honey
    1/8 C vegetable oil
    1 T yeast
    1/4 T salt
    3 C flour (approximately)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixer with a dough hook mix everything except the flour, let yeast start to bubble.
Add 1 1/2 C flour and mix, then add 1/2 C at a time until dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
Let dough rise until double in size (20-30 minutes)
Pull dough out of bowl onto floured countertop and knead down, forming a loaf.
Put dough in a greased 9x5 bread pan.
Let rise again until double in size (20-30 minutes).
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Remove from pan immediately and place on a cooling rack.

Makes one loaf.

Serving size 1 slice.

Approximately 14 slices per loaf.
