Ingredients
-
Sara lee Delightful 45 calorie bread (2 slices)
Athenos Hummus -flavor of your choice (1tbsp)
Kraft Singles fat-free Sharp Cheddar (1 slice)
Morningstar Farms Mushroom Lover's Burger (1 burger)
Cucumber slices
Tomato slices
Directions
You can assemble this sandwich anyway you want, but I prefer to melt the cheese onto the burger, toast the bread just a bit, then place cheesy burger on toasted bread and layer with veggies. I used cukes and tomatoes because that is what we had, but you can use whatever you want/have.
Also- My original creation used Morningstar Farms California Turk'y Burger, which was why I decided this was so yummy. That would reduce the calorie count by 20. You can use whichever burger you have around, but the Turk'y one has only 90 cals and is very filling!!
Also, I used the Roasted Red Pepper hummus, which adds flavor without too many calories, but you can use whatever flavor you want!
I bet this would also be good made on a panini grill or something similar!
Enjoy.
