Introduction
I found this recipe online using chocolate Whey Powder as I was looking for a way to make my own Frap using instant coffee. I thought it was worth sharing for sure!! I left out the chocolate syrup and replaced it with creamer. I found this recipe online using chocolate Whey Powder as I was looking for a way to make my own Frap using instant coffee. Ingredients
-
1 tsp to 1 Tablespoon instant coffee granules
3/4 cup nonfat Milk
1/4 cup Belgian Chocolate Toffee Creamer (liquid)
1 scoop Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
10 Ice Cubes
Directions
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth!
Modifications: The amount of coffee is listed as variable because personal preference should be applied. I made it the first time using too much for me and had to double the other ingredients and that ended up being just right. I had used about a tablespoon that time. I would suggest starting with a teaspoon if you're not a coffee fiend.
Also, the type of creamer could be modified to your taste or left out completely and replaced with milk, which would be healthier but less sweet. Chocolate syrup was in the recipe I started with, just a squeeze for flavor. You could add that and use a full cup of milk and no creamer for a healther variety.
When I doubled the recipe I ended up with way more than 2 servings...so the calories per serving are lower. Drink less, get fewer calories! :)
