Ingredients
-
Medium Delicious Apple
1/2 packet Splenda
Mini Box of Raisins
1 tsp. Cinnamon
2 - 3 walnuts
1 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. lite Whipped Topping
1 rectangle Cinnamon Graham Cracker
Directions
In a small glass bowl crumble up the graham cracker.
Core and chop the apple, add to bowl
Add 2 -3 chopped walnuts
Add mini box of raisins
sprinkle tsp of cinnamon on top
sprinkle 1/2 packet of Splenda over the cinnamon
Add the water and cover with a lid
Microwave for 2 minutes; let sit for 5 minutes. By letting it sit, the liquid gets a bit syrupy.
Remove from microwave - the dish will be hot!
Add the 2 tbsp. of whipped topping and mix it all together.
Enjoy ~ I end my day with this delicious treat. There are many variations, you can add/eliminate/substitute depending on how many calories you want to use. Sometimes I will use Grape-Nuts or Granola instead of a Graham Cracker, or almond slices or pecans for walnuts, and if my calories for the day will allow I sometimes treat myself, and add 5 dark chocolate chip morsels. It tastes (and smells) like you are eating something soooo bad but it isn't!
