Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    8 slices of bacon, chopped
    1 Cup finely chopped onion
    4 tspn finely chopped, fresh garlic
    1 C. Acine de Pepe pasta, uncooked
    1 - 14 oz can chicken broth
    1/2 C. water
    1 bell pepper, red or green, finely chopped
    1 1/2 tspn chili powder
    1/2 tspn paprika
    1/2 tspn salt
    1 - 14 oz can diced tomatoes

Directions

In a large non-stick skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp. Drain all but 1 tablespoon of drippings from pan. Add onion, garlic and uncooked pasta; cook, stirring frequently for 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except tomato; heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover. Simmer 13 minutes, or until pasta is tender and liquid is absorbed, stirring occassionally. Stir in tomato; cook 2 minutes, covered.
