Introduction

Ingredients

    1 1/2 lb pork loin diced 1" squares or smaller

    BATTER:
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/4 c. flour or Masa flour ( i use Masa)
    1 tsp. Garam Masala or 5 spice
    1 tbs.. poppy seed or sesame seed
    1/4 c. chicken broth or water ( i use water)
    this ia crispy batter for fluffy batter use egg beaters instead of egg. add 1/2 tsp cream of tarter as egg beaters are egg whites and it makes better texture


Directions

Add pork to batter and deep fry 5-6 at a time until browned and bubbling slows down. keep warm add to the sweet & sour sauce of your choice. serve with rice and steamed vegetables.
