I am half Iranian and this a staple at every dinner table meal with my family. Its so healthy and delicious. BUT BE CAREFUL, ONCE YOU HAVE THIS SALAD, YOURE HOOKED. Ingredients

1/2 cup yellow or white onion chopped
1 cup tomato chopped
1 cucumber-peeled-chopped
1 cup lime or lemon juice
2 Tblsp minced fresh cilantro (remove leaves from stems)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Fold them until completely blended. Cover bowl and put in the fridge. Let it sit for about 30 minutes. This allows the juices from the veggies to soak into eachother, marrying nicely. You can add less or more salt and pepper if needed. After that, Just serve!
