Introduction

Ingredients

    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1/4 c chopped onion
    6 mushrooms, sliced
    1/4 c salted butter
    3 T salt
    1.5 T black pepper
    1 T onion powder
    3 T poultry seasoning
    1 c cooked turkey, diced
    1/2 c sliced carrots
    2 1/2 c water
    3/4 c french style green beans
    1/2 c corn
    1/2 c peas
    1/2 c Hot water
    1/4 c flour

Directions

Saute celery, onions & mushrooms in butter with salt, pepper, onion powder & poultry seasoning until tender and lightly browned.
Mix in cooked turkey and carrots; continue to saute. Add 2 1/2 cups of water and remaining vegetables. Simmer until all vegetables are tender.
In separate bowl, mix 1/2 c hot water & flour until smooth.
Add flour/water to pot once all vegetables are cooked. Still well, continuing to simmer for about 3-4 minutes. If not thick enough, repeat flour water process.
Serve over toast, bisquits or noodles.
Serving size approximately 1/2 - 2/3 cup. Makes about 6 servings.
