Ingredients

One 1lb bag of pinto beans
Three slices of farmland cooked ham lunch meat
Three cups of frozen pick sweet seasoning blend

    Seasoning I like:
    2 tsp salt
    1 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp sage
    1 tsp celery seed
    2 tsp cumin
    2 tsp Tony's Cajun Seasoning

Directions

This is a slow cooker recipe

- put beans in slow cooker
- add enough water to cover beans and turn the pot on high
-add your frozen seasoning blend ( you can also chop your own onion, celery, and bell pepper)
- dice up your ham and add it to the pot as well

Season to taste

Try to keep the water level just above the beans, ad stir occasionally after about 7 hours turn the pot to low and cook for another two hours. Serve over rice or eat by them selves either way is good.
