Ingredients

    1 lb of ground beef
    1 c. onion, chopped
    2 T oil
    4 c. beef broth
    2 (16 oz) cans of tomatoes
    1 c. celery, sliced
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1 (10 oz) bag of frozen mixed vegetables
    1/2 c. elbow macaroni
    1/2 tsp. thyme

Directions

Saute beef and onions in large saucepan until well browned. Drain fat. Add broth, tomatoes, celery and other seasonings. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Add mixed vegetables, macaroni and thyme. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Serves 8-10.
