    4 chicken breasts
    1 pack taco seasonings
    1 C salsa
    1/2 cup shredded cheese


Trim all fat from chicken. Put in a gallon ziplock bag and shake with taco seasonings. Put in an 8 x 8 greased pan. Pour salsa over chicken.

Cook for 35 minutes at 350.

Add a sprinkling of cheese. Cook for 5 more minutes, or until cheese is melted.

    I put a twist on it and made it a slow cooker recipe. I added green chilies and black olives to give it a total taco feel. I also combined regular and green chili salsa. It was awesome. Six hours on low did the trick. You can still add the cheese at the end if you like. I highly reccomend - 2/10/08

  • This was awesome, I baked the chicken with the seasoning then topped with thin slices of avocado, 2 thin slices of lowfat cheddar topped w/ salsa then put under the broiler for a few. Very tender and juicy! - 3/1/09
