    1/2 Raw White/Yellow Onion Cut in 1/4s
8-10 Raw White Mushrooms Cut in 1/4's or 1/2 depending on size

Tips

Try this with other vegetables.

Directions

Cut Chicken into cubes, clean shrimp remove shells and tails if they have them on, cut veggies into cubes that are spearable onto shish kabob spears. Put 1 much room piece, chicken cube, onion, shrimp, yellow pepper, mushroom, chicken cube, onion, shrimp, red pepper, mushroom, chicken cube, green pepper, mushroom, onion, shrimp, etc.. until you fill out all but the bottoms of the spears so you have something to hold onto for serving purposes.*

Place in grill pan or on BBQ Grill and cook on all sides turning every so many minutes so not to burn them. Chard a bit is good but do nor burn. Chicken will be firm when done, shrimp should already be cooked when purchased frozen or will turn white and have a bright orange color to the outside skin. About 15 minutes total on grill pan on medium high heat, and about 25 minutes on a BBQ Grill. * Be sure home grill pan is large enough to accommodate shish kabobs being cooked. You may have to cut spears in 1/2 to fit.
