Ingredients

    1 cup orange juice
    3 cups cranberries, whole (washed)
    1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
    1/2 cup pineapple tidbits in juice, drained
    1/2 cup honey

Tips

1/4 tsp ginger and 1/4 tsp cinnamon can be substituted for 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice. Crushed pineaple (in juice) can also be substituted for the pineapple tidbits.


Directions

Put pineapple, cranberries, orange juice, pumpkin pie spice, and honey in a medium pot. Boil until berries pop. Remove the cranberry sauce from the stove. Mash the berries with a potato masher or a fork. Let cool 10-15 minutes. Chill to let cranberry sauce thicken.

Serving Size: Makes 9 (1/3 cup) servings.
