Ingredients

    Ingredients:
Hambone, with 3/4 cup meat on it
Carrots, raw, 3 cup, 1/2" slices
Green Peppers (bell peppers), 2 cup, cubed
Potato, with skin, 2 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) cubed
Celery, raw, 2 cup, 1/2" slices
pork stock, home-prepared, 3 cup (I use the stock from my crock pot pulled pork after removing the fat)
Beans, red kidney, 1- 14oz can
    Diced Tomatoes, 1- 14oz can
    Garlic, 3 cloves
    Bay Leaf, 1

Tips

You can use any kind of stock. I use what ever I have. I do a lot of crock potting and keep stock from chicken when I make chicken enchaladas, beef when I make a shoulder, pork from pulled pork, you name it.

Let it cool, peel the fat off the top, and put it in a storage bin in the freezer.

Directions

Toss everything in a crock pot and forget about it for 4-hours on high or 6-hours on low

Serving Size: Makes six large servings
