Introduction
"Grilled" Ham and Cheese grown up style "Grilled" Ham and Cheese grown up styleNumber of Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
One sheet of Puff Pastry
1/3 lb deli sliced ham
3/4 cup Gruyere Cheese
1/2 oz Romano Cheese
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
1/2 tsp Rosemary
Tips
The meats, cheeses, and herbs are interchangable. I used these cause that was what I had on hand. Thyme would be a great substitution for rosemary for example. FYI, different cheeses may change the caloric value.
Directions
Thaw puff pastry according to directions, if you make it yourself(you rock) skip this step.
Preheat oven to 400 and lightly grease baking sheet, if you are using non-stick sheet skip the grease. Mix cheeses and herbs together in small bowl, this allows the oils from the herbs to penetrate the oils of the cheese. Lay ham out on puff pastry allowing a small area along one edge to remain free. Spread cheese mixture on top of ham. Roll puff pastry toward free edge. Wet free edge down slightly to close roll. Slice into rolls. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden on top.
Serving Size: makes 10-12 slices, I serve 2.5 to three per serving
Number of Servings: 4
