Ingredients

1/2 cup warm water
1 tsp sugar
1 envelope active dry yeast
1 cup water
3/4 cup 1% milk
2 T brown sugar
2 T butter
6 1/4 cups multigrain flour (Robin Hood)
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/3 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1 tsp salt
Tips
The timing for the dough to rise will depend on how warm the environment is. Making bread requires effort and time, but the results are very much worth it.
Directions
Sprinkle yeast in .5 cup warm water into which 1 tsp of sugar has been dissolved. Let stand 15 min's and stir well. Heat 1 cup water, milk, brown sugar and butterto lukewarm, stirring to dissolve sugar. Add milk mix along with 2 cups of flour and beat un til smooth and elastic. Stir in oats, oat bran, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and salt. Add remaining flour gradually and and knead for 5 minutes if using mixer or 10 min's if kneading by hand. Add flour if needed until dough does not stick unto the bowl. Cover and let rise until double (aprox. 1 hour). Punch down and divide into 2 equal loaves. Place in pans and let rise until dough is about
1 1/2"higher than breadpan. Bake at 400 degrees on lower rack for 30 minutes. Remove from pans and let cool on rack.
