Ingredients

DOUGH INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon yeast (1 7g packet)
1 cup very warm water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups plain flour
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion chopped fine
2 garlic clove, crushed
1 tin of chopped tomatoes
1 teaspoon salt
3-4 twists of pepper mill
(can add diced red/green pepper
or shredded carrots)
TOPPINGS:
Mozzarella cheese
Directions
DOUGH
☙Mix yeast, sugar, and water. Let sit for a minute.
☙Add salt, oil, and both flours.
☙Mix well.
☙Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 2 minutes - add flour if too sticky.
☙Roll into circle shape.
SAUCE METHOD:
☙Pour olive oil into a saucepan and add in onion, garlic (and peppers/carrots, if using).
☙Saute for a few minutes until onion softens.
☙Add chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper and cook for few minutes on a medium heat, stirring frequently.
☙Remove from heat.
☙Blend.
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:
☙Heat oven to 210ºC (190º fan oven).
☙Place your rolled out dough onto a baking tray.
☙Spread a few spoonfuls of sauce around, leaving an edge.
☙Add mozzarella cheese (and toppings)
☙Bake for 10 - 15 minutes.
☙Cool slightly and ENJOY!
