Introduction

Ingredients

    12 large button mushrooms
    1/2 cup herb stuffing mix crushed
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1 large egg
    Pam

Directions

1) Pre heat oven to 425 spray baking sheet with Pam.
2) Mix stuffing mix, garlic and pepper together, in another bowl beat egg.
3) dip mushrooms in egg and then in stuffing mixture.
4) place mushrooms on baking sheet and spray each mushroom with Pam.
5) bake for 10-15 minutes

Makes 2 servings of 6 mushrooms.

    This is a fantastic recipe! I substituted finely ground Fiber One Cereal for the stuffing, EggBeaters for the egg, and added a little garlic salt. I will definitely make this again...over and over! - 3/18/10

    I love deep fried mushrooms! These are a great substituition! Was kinda leary about using the herb stuffing mix but they turned out great! DH even loved them. Will definately be making them again! AND SOON! - 1/24/10

    I made this with fresh morel mushrooms tonight. I did use bread crumbs I made from my favorite high fiber honey oat bread. I will definately make it again. - 4/27/10

    Fantastic! I used Baby Bellas and dropped a little bit of Laughing Cow cheese into the middle of each one and served them alongside baked cod for dinner. I will definitely make these again. - 3/25/13
