Ingredients

    2 cups old fashioned oatmeal
    4 tbs. brown sugar
    1/2 cup dried fruit
    3 small bananas chopped
    4 cups skim milk
    2 small apples chopped

Tips

I Know that this has a high sugar content. To reduce the sugar u can add only 2 tbs of brown sugar or use really ripe bananas and no brown sugar. Also this can be made with water instead of milk but it will not be as creamy.


Directions

bring milk, dried fruit and apples to a slow boil. Being careful not to burn the milk. Add the oatmeal. Let cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
Remove from heat. Fold in the bananas and brown sugar. Serve.

Serving Size: makes 4 2-cup servings or 8 1-cup
