Ingredients

    5 cups whole wheat flour
    4 1/2 cups almond milk (or any non-dairy milk)
    4 tsp baking powder
    2 tsp baking soda
    2 tsp salt

Tips

-The amount of batter you use will vary on your waffle iron
-The time will vary. I tend to let mine cook 30 seconds past the indicator light to make them crispy
-You can top with Earth Balance butter, maple syrup, agave syrup, or may personal favorite: almond butter and sliced banana


Directions

-Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl
-Add milk substitute and mix well
-Use a measuring cup to add 1/2 a cup of batter to each compartment of your waffle iron
-Follow your waffle iron's instructions for cook time
-Enjoy fresh, OR
-Store in air tight container in freezer
-Warm up in toaster on highest setting
