Meatless marinara sauce, crockpot style Meatless marinara sauce, crockpot style
Number of Servings: 12


    2 cans crushed or diced tomatoes
    1 can tomato paste
    1 large onion (or more, to taste)
    8 cloves garlic, chopped (to taste)
    1 T olive oil
    2 t sugar
    2 t basil
    1 t oregano
    1 t salt
    1 t pepper
    12 cups hot cooked pasta
    shredded parmesan, to taste


Make primavera sauce by adding mixed cooked vegetables


mix all ingredients except pasta and parmesan in crock pot. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours, or 4-5 hours on high. Serve over hot cooked pasta, top with parmesan.

Serving Size: Serves a crowd or fills a freezer
