Introduction

This is one version of the chili I make. I throw in whatever kind of beans I have in the cupboard. eg: black beans, chick peas, etc. You can also add peppers or more onion and garlic if you like. Also turn up the heat to your taste :) adding jalepeno peppers or hot sauce. This is one version of the chili I make. Ingredients

    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 tsp minced garlic
    2 lbs extra lean ground beef
    1 796ml can Heinz brown beans
    1 796ml can Aylmer diced tomatoes with Italian spices
    1 540ml can Primo Romano beans
    1 540ml can Primo White Kidney beans
    2 398ml can Heinz Red Kidney beans
    4 tbsp chili powder
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In a large pot, put oil and chopped onion. Cook on med high heat for 3 min. Add garlic, cook 1 min more. Add ground beef, salt and pepper to taste. Cook till well done. Add all cans of beans, tomatoes and chili powder. Heat through, reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 1 hour. Serve
