Introduction

High protein, Low carb meatballs High protein, Low carb meatballs
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    3 large whole eggs
    3lbs extra lean ground beef
    1lb extra lean ground turkey
    1tbsp onion powder
    1tbsp garlic powder
    McCormick Montreal seasoning (or ms. dash)
    1tbsp dried oregano or italian seasoning

    Optional: 1 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes

Tips

Line your cookie sheets with foil and spray with cooking spray and clean up is fast.

This makes 50, so leave enough in fridge for 3-4 days and freeze the rest.

These can be dry, so I add about 2 tbsp heart healthy prego and that only adds 2 carbs.


Directions

mix all ingredients together with hands. Roll into 2inch balls. Bake on cookie sheets 350degrees for 20 min.

Serving Size: makes 50 meatballs, 5 each

    Very Good
    We made these for our Super bowl party this year. Can you say, "Awesome!" I ate mine plain with a little more salt added. Since there isn't an amount steak seasoning on the recipe, I started with one T and added another T to the mix after tasting the first set cooked. I think 3T would be good - 2/7/13
