Ingredients

    1 cup dry Steel Cut Oats
    4 small bananas (or 400 g total) - mashed
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    0.5 tsp salt

Tips

Refrigerate and then cut into 4 servings. Cold oatmeal can return to oatmeal-y consistency by adding a bit of milk and microwaving for 60-90 seconds.


Directions

Bring 4 cups of water to boil over high heat, add salt and oats. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in vanilla and cinnamon mid-way through cooking. Remove from stove and stir in mashed banana.
