    2 lb. frozen hash browns
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 onion
    2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 stick butter

    combine all ingredients in a large bowl. save some cheese for the top. bake in 9x13 for 375 for 11/2 hours
