Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients
-
1 Cup of Granulated sugar
1 Cup of Bottled lemon juice (any brand will work)
6 1/2 cups of cold Water
Tips
I add the sugar and juice in that order so that I don't get the measuring cup wet with lemon juice so I can use the same measuring cup for both.
I use the wacky splitting of adding the water because I think it helps keep the sugar from settling to the bottom by being able to stir more vigorously before the container is so full.
Directions
The direction on the package say to pour all ingredients together and mix until combined.
I usually put half the water into my container and then add the sugar and then the lemon, and then I start stirring and add the rest of the water as I stir.
Serving Size: makes 8, 8oz servings.

I'm diabetic, so use mixture of Stevia,Equal,and/or Sugar Twin. Also 10-15% cane sugar(Berry)/100% raw sugar gives it original flavour without going nuts on sugar.Original recipe with REALEMON was always the best."Any brand" lemon juice takes away from flavor.Avoid cheap lemon,it's watered down. - 8/21/13

I'm sorry. There are 774 calories in a cup of sugar and 61 calories in a cup of lemon juice. If this recipe serves 8, then the calories for each serving is 104 calories. - 11/30/12
