I heated the sugar/lemon first, and continued to add water to the hot pot. I added fresh mint and let the mixture the cool before refrigerating. When I put it in the fridge I added frozen blueberries, cherries and blackberries. Turned out delicious!
I'm diabetic, so use mixture of Stevia,Equal,and/or Sugar Twin. Also 10-15% cane sugar(Berry)/100% raw sugar gives it original flavour without going nuts on sugar.Original recipe with REALEMON was always the best."Any brand" lemon juice takes away from flavor.Avoid cheap lemon,it's watered down.
