Ingredients

    7 oz Eckrich smoked sausage
    16 oz of water
1 fresh carrot sliced, or chopped
1 cup green bell pepper chopped
1 boil in bag, bag of Success brown rice
1/4 cup of raw onion chopped
2 cups of Swanson fat-free low sodium chicken broth

Tips

The recipe doesn't have to be strict to the ingredients I put in what I like since I can't stand soup.

Directions

Start by cooking the rice and then sit the rice to the side while sauteing the sausage, after that put it to the side and chop the vegetables and put them in a small pot (sauce pan). Next put the meat, water, vegetables, and broth into the pot and cook on medium heat until done add seasoning to taste. try to put the rice in last so that it doesn't swell and absorb the juice.
