Introduction

This is my morning shake after a workout! It tastes great and gives me great energy to start my day. This is my morning shake after a workout! It tastes great and gives me great energy to start my day.

Ingredients

    VitaSource Whey, 2 serving
    Kale, .5 cup, chopped (fresh or frozen)
    Strawberries, frozen, unsweetened, .5 cup,
    Banana, frozen, .5 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long)
    Cucumber (with peel), 0.5 cup slices
    *Coconut Water, 1 cup
    *Flaxseed - Bobs Red Mill - whole ground flaxseed meal, 1 tbsp
    Granny smith apple - 1 med. apple, .5 serving
    Pears, fresh, .25 cup slices

Tips

Best Blended in a Nutribullet but if using a regular blender, blend the kale, cucumber and coconut water first to make it smoother. Can use any choice of fruit and switch it up to keep it interesting.


Directions

Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender and enjoy.

Serving Size: makes about 12-16oz per serving
