Ingredients
-
1 32 oz container of Greek yogurt
approx. 1 tbsp of salt
Olive Oil--about 1/2 cup
paper towel
colonder
small bowl
plastic wrap
Tips
Typically eaten with grapes or other fresh fruit to enhance flavor and give a hint of sweetness
Directions
After opening container of yogurt, put in about 1tbsp of salt. Stir well. Then, line your colonder with about 3-4 sheets of paper towel. Pour the yogurt from it's original container into the colonder. Set the colonder on top of the smaller bowl and cover the yogurt with plastic wrap. Set in the fridge overnight. In the morning, there will be liquid in the bowl. Dump that out. The yogurt in the colonder will be thick--that is the labneh. Put it in a tupper ware container, smooth it out and drizzle olive oil on top. Dip toast, pita, whatever and enjoy!!!
