Ingredients
-
Lettuce, red leaf (salad), 2 cups torn
Cucumber (peeled), .5 cup, sliced
Green Peppers (bell peppers), .25 cup, strips
Onions, raw, .25 cup, chopped
Feta Cheese, 0.5 cup, crumbled
Oregano, ground, .25 tsp
Kalamata, Green Olives, pitted, 2 oz
Lemon Juice, 1 wedge yields
Kraft Caesar Vinaigrette w/Parmesan salad dressing or Olive Oil (119.3 cal; 13.5 fat - per tbsp), 3 tbsp
Directions
Wash and dry all the veggies. Start with the lettuce, tearing small pieces into a bowl, mixing both kinds together.
Now you want to peel and quarter your cucumbers. Once completed, you want to slice the quarters, bite-size will do, and place on top of the lettuce.
Now chop your onion wedge into chunks, not to big, approx. nickel size. Place evenly across the salad.
Take your green pepper and slice into thin strips and also scatter evenly across the salad.
Sprinkle the feta and oregano on top of that. Place the olives in the center of the salad for a delicious decoration.
Then take your lemon wedge and carefully squeeze on top of the salad.
Finally drizzle the dressing or olive oil all over the top of the salad, add more if desired. The olive oil may be higher in fat, but it is better for you.
Serve and enjoy! ;)
