Introduction
More than just cranberries. I'm not sure where it came from, but my family has been using this recipe instead of regular cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving for about 20 years. Ingredients
-
Jello: 1 cup boiling water,1 large packet of sugar free raspberry jello, I can CRUSHED pineapple in pineapple juice, 1 can WHOLE cranberry sauce, 1 cup orange juice, 3/4 -1 cup chopped walnuts (optional).
Topping: I cup sour cream, 1, 8 oz. package cream cheese
Tips
Can be made with fewer calories and fat by replacing ingredients with low sugar orange juice and low or non- fat cream cheese and sour cream. It would probably be pretty good without the topping as well.
