Ingredients

    -4 russet potatoes, peeled and diced
    -4 leeks, whites only, thinnly sliced
    -5 cups chicken stock (or water)
    -4 oz white wine (optional)
    -2 oz milk (optional)
    -2 tbsp unsalted butter
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Place potatoes, leeks, wine, and stock in crockpot and cook on LOW for 6 hours.

Puree half of the soup and combine it back into the crockpot with the rest. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper until melted/combined.
