Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground turkey
    1 small yellow onion, diced
    8 tbsp Chili powder (hot or mild as preferred)
    2 cups (dry measure) prepared whole wheat macaroni noodles


    1 can each of:

    Dark red kidney beans
    Condensed tomato soup
    Condensed tomato rice soup
    Mexican stewed tomatoes

Tips

The longer this sits, the more flavorful it gets, so feel free to make it early and hold off on the macaroni until it is almost time to eat.


Directions

Brown ground turkey and onion. Boil macaroni noodles as instructed on package. Drain browned meat and pour into large cooking pot. Add all canned ingredients and chili powder (I usually use more since we like it hot). Stir well and over medium heat just until it starts bubbling, stirring occasionally (about 10 minutes or so). Remove from heat. Strain the macaroni and pour into the chili. Stir well and serve.

Serving Size: Makes about 6 servings about 1 cup each.
