Introduction

Not a traditional Mongolian beef, but a combination of Broccoli Beef and Pepper Steak. Not a traditional Mongolian beef, but a combination of Broccoli Beef and Pepper Steak.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 pounds of flank steak (or any other lean cut of beef. Chicken breast, turkey breast, or ground turkey can be used as well).

    2 Large Green Bell Peppers

    1/4 cup of diced garlic (or one head of fresh garlic)

    1 large red onion (or white)

    1 10 oz bag of frozen broccoli

    1 tbsp of vegetable oil

    1/2 cup of Kikkoman Soy Sauce

    2 tbsp of Sesame oil

    Salt and Pepper to taste.

Directions

1. Put oil in a large pan (12 inches or more) and heat on high.

2. Add frozen broccoli and cook until thawed, then add remainder of vegetables. Stir occasionally.

3. Cook vegetables until al-dente, then add beef, soy sauce, pepper and salt (in that order).

4. Cover, then cook on high for five minutes. Uncover, simmer until liquid has cooked down or beef is cooked to desired doneness.

Serving Size: Makes eight cups.
