Ingredients

    2 1/2 tsp dry yeast
    1 3/4 cup flour
    1/4 tsp sugar
    3/4 cup 110°F water
    1 tsp salt
1/4 cup tomato sauce with herbs
    1 cup mushrooms
    1/2 cup chopped onions
    1/4 cup chopped green peppers
    24 slices pepperoni
    8 oz mozzarella cheese

Directions

Heat oven to 500°F with a pizza stone inside.

Crust:
Dissolve yeast and sugar in water; allow to rest for 8 minutes. In a separate bowl, combine flour and salt.

While dough is resting, chop or dice the vegetables and slice the mozzarella cheese.

Pour yeast mixture over flour mixture and mix well with a heavy spoon. Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead for 2 minutes. Working from the edges to the center, press or roll dough into a 12" circle. Place dough on a lightly floured counter and stretch dough to edges.

Spread sauce over crust and top with cheese and desired toppings.

Bake in a 500 degree oven for 8-12 minutes, or until edges are golden.
