Ingredients

    Turkey burger 2.5 lbs. (lightly cook first in skillet)
    Black beans 425 grams canned (15 oz. can)
    Tomato sauce 425 grams (30 oz.)
    Diced tomatoes 822 grams (29.oz.)
    Hot banana peppers 4.15 oz. (3/4 to 1 cup diced)
    Jalapeno peppers 3.25 oz ( 3/4 to 1 cup diced)
    Onion 8.70 oz. (one medium) diced
    2 bay leaves
    1/2 cup chili pepper
    Tb. minced garlic (I use the store bought tube . . . no mincing needed!)

Tips

Can add sweetner if too tart. I use a squirt of liquid Stevia as there are no calories. Can also add more or less chili powder depending on you taste. Corn or diced yams can be added to this dish, but add additional calories to above calculations.


Directions

Throw everything in a crock and cook!
