These are really good chops!
Number of Servings: 7
Ingredients
-
21 oz pork chops boneless
1/4 tsp paprika
2 tsp onion powder or onion flakes
1 tsp garlic (fresh, clove, minced, powder)
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (or 1/8 tsp cayenne)
dash cinnamon
dash nutmeg or all spice
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground mustard (or mustard seed)
Tips
Chops seen in picture with mango salsa.
Directions
Place all spices in grinder... grind well.
Spread chops out on plate, sprinkle half spices on one side, pat into meat.
Turn meat over, spread other half onto other side, pat into meat.
Put chops into sealer bag and seal. (Zip lock can be used if you do not have a sealer, suck out as much air as possible, this can be done by zipping bag up most of the way and leave a space open just big enough for a straw, use straw to suck out all air and zip up).
Place in fridge to marinate 4-6 hours.
At dinner time, open bag and place chops on baking surface. I use a NuWave and cook 8 min on each side. (you can use a grill, inside grill pan, or oven as well). Cook on low till meat is done. Make sure pork is done to 145 degrees after 3 min rest. If it is not at this temp it is not safe to eat.
