Ingredients

    2 medium whole bananas, frozen in peel, PEEL REMOVED for smoothie
    6-8 large fresh strawberries, stems removed (frozen)
    1 handful (1/2 c. or so) fresh blackberries, frozen
    1 handful (1/4 - 1/2 c. or so) fresh blueberries, frozen


Tips

I buy all fruit, wash, clean stems (strawberries) and freeze in Tupperware fridgesmart containers. The fruit stays freshly frozen for months. No freezer burn, no waste. Excellent for smoothies.

Take fruit from freezer about 10-15 minutes before preparing the smoothies for ease of blending. Warm water run over the bananas makes them easier to peel in this state!


Directions

A little at a time, place the frozen fruit and the liquids in a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately. If a little more liquid is required, I sometimes use a touch more almond milk, or we have added unsweetened cranberry juice for a little zing. Delicious and healthy!
