Ingredients

    2 lbs Beef Brisket (not corned)
    1 c. Ketchup
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    1/4 c. grape jelly
    2 med. diced onions (optional)


Tips

I know there is a lot of sodium in the onion soup mix and the ketchup. We don't have a problem with that but you could probably use a low sodium products such as beef broth instead but you might need to thicken it at the end.


Directions

Mix last 4 ingredients together in Crock Pot. Put in Brisket and cook on Low for 6-8 hours. I serve sauce in a gravy boat with ladle to pour over meat and mashed potatoes.
