Introduction

A mixture of fresh vegetables that I keep to make the basics of a salad. Meat can be added, if you like. Salad dressings too. A mixture of fresh vegetables that I keep to make the basics of a salad. Meat can be added, if you like. Salad dressings too.

Ingredients

Various lettuce greens: iceberg, red tip, Bibb, field greens, baby spinach, grated cabbage and other veggies diced small or grated such as carrots, beets, zucchini, celery, sweet corn, cucumbers, tomatoes, sliced olives of any kind, sweet peppers, Italian peppers, etc. Add a seed such as sunflower, pumpkin, sesame seed, chia or other. If you want some pieces of chicken or steak, add that. Shrimp or salmon is tasty too. Hard boiled egg is great.
My favorite dressing is Seven Seas Red Wine Vinegrette and I order it from Amazon.com because I can't find it in the area grocery stores.
If you have access to a grocery store with a salad bar, it is even easier to make. Just be sure it is fresh. It will only keep for a few days. Keep cool. Serve cool.
It can be for one or many, as the main course or a side salad.
This salad is different every time you make it.

Directions

Mix, put on dressing and toss in a plastic topped bowl to mix. Serve cool.
