This is a simple breakfast shake. It's green from the avocado, but it tastes like bananas and almond butter. You can add a leaf or two of kale or any other fruit for a fruit smoothie. Ingredients

    Half avocado, pitted and peeled
    Whole medium banana
    2 tbsp raw almond butter
    .5 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
    .5 cup plain coconut yogurt (or yogurt of choice)
    2 tbsp Flax seed meal
    Ice (to desired consistency)

Directions

Add all ingredients (starting with liquids) to blender, slowly adding denser ingredients. Save ice for last. Add more almond milk if needed.

Serving Size: makes about 2 1.5 cup servings
