Introduction

Garlic so nice, you gotta say it twice. We're using it as a hot day meal. Uses toasted sesame oil instead of olive oil. Garlic so nice, you gotta say it twice. We're using it as a hot day meal. Uses toasted sesame oil instead of olive oil.

Ingredients

    8 cups cooked chickpeas (garbanzos)
    1/2 cup organic tahini
1/4 cup organic toasted sesame oil
1 cup cider vinegar (you can use lemon juice instead if you like. I used what I had.)
    1/4 cup garlic powder
    2 tbsp onion powder
    2 tbsp dry basil
    1 tsp dry parsley
    2 tbsp dry dill weed
    1 tbsp dry oregano
    Salt to taste
Black or white pepper to taste

Tips

Serve with your favorite veggie, pita crackers, pita chips, on toast, on a bagel. 1 cup is one serving according to my recipe, but you can adjust it for your tracker.

Directions

In blender or food processor, or in a large bowl with an immersion blender, combine all ingredients until smooth and creamy.

Serving Size: Makes about 10 1-cup servings
