Introduction

Energy Bar, great for a pre-workout snack or for satisfying a sweet tooth! Energy Bar, great for a pre-workout snack or for satisfying a sweet tooth!
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    1 cup Peanut Butter (or nut butter of choice)
    2/3 cup Honey
    1/4 cup Coconut Oil
    2 cups steel cut oats
    1 tsp cocoa
    2 tbsp Chia seeds
    1/4 cup ground flax seed

Tips

The mix doesn't quite fill a whole cake pan, and to ensure they have a decent amount of thickness you won't want to fill the whole cake pan, or use a smaller one, I just didn't have one on hand.


Directions

Combine all liquids in a sauce pan and heat until boiling and completely mixed. Remove from heat and mix in all the combined dry ingredients. Smooth out in a pan to cut into bars. Cool in the fridge for 30 min to an hour. Cut and enjoy!

Serving Size: makes about 20 2 inch bars
