Introduction

Homemade meat sauce made with ground venison. Homemade meat sauce made with ground venison.

Ingredients

    1 lb. ground venison
    1 quart diced tomatoes
    1 quart tomato sauce
    1 c. chopped onion
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp. ground oregano
    1 Tbsp. dry leaf basil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground fennel

Directions

Brown the ground venison, add chopped onion and garlic and cook till onions are soft. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce, and all spices. Cook until sauce thickens a little (30 minutes or so). Serve over cooked noodles.
