Introduction

Great wholesome and yummy soup perfect for making in my Vitamix. So quick and simple! Great wholesome and yummy soup perfect for making in my Vitamix. So quick and simple!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 cups Asparagus (cut into chunks to steam)
    1 cup Fresh Mushrooms (cut in half to steam)
    14.5 oz Can of Swanson 99% Fat Free Chicken Broth
    1 Medium Onion (coarsley chopped to steam)



Tips

This receipe is very easy to make in a larger amount by just increasing your ingredients. Cook time remains the same. If you don't care about the calories, you can also make this a cream of asparagus soup by using Fat Free Half and Half. Just add enough based on the consistancy you like. Sprinkle a little Parmesan Cheese on top and enjoy!


Directions

Place all the clean, chopped ingredients from above in your steamer and steam for approximately 15, Minutes. Transfer steamed veggies to your Vitamix add Chicken broth and let your Vitamix run for approximately 7-10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

    This soup is incredibly easy to make. It is a little bland, but pretty healthy and can be tasty with some croutons/crackers. 4 stars for ease of creation and healthiness. - 12/22/18
